A few years ago, Sheila could not get up from a chair without assistance or hold her grand-babies in her arms. After a life of being a very active and high-functioning person, she found herself with constant back pain and unable to move or be independent. She was diagnosed with sciatica, herniated disc and spinal stenosis, and went through many medical treatments.
“I had so much pain all the time, I could even not concentrate, my whole world was shrinking!”
Sheila took the Baltimore Feldenkrais Training in 2012 and that changed her life. Today she is able to roll on the floor with her granddaughters, walk her dogs, and truly enjoys life.
Listen to Sheila’s story in this short video interview – a true journey of a woman who overcame pain and disability through Baltimore Feldenkrais Training.
